Το Photopea (/?fo?t??pi?/ FOH-t?-PEE) είναι ένα πρόγραμμα επεξεργασίας γραφικών
που βασίζεται στο web που μπορεί να λειτουργήσει με ράστερ και διανυσματικά γραφικά.
Μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί για επεξεργασία εικόνας, δημιουργία εικονογραφήσεων,
σχεδιασμό ιστοσελίδων ή μετατροπή μεταξύ διαφορετικών μορφών εικόνας.
Το Photopea είναι λογισμικό που υποστηρίζεται από διαφημίσεις.
Είναι συμβατό με όλα τα σύγχρονα προγράμματα περιήγησης ιστού,
συμπεριλαμβανομένων των Opera, Edge, Chrome και Firefox.
Η εφαρμογή είναι συμβατή με το PSD του Photoshop καθώς και με
JPEG, PNG, DNG, GIF, SVG, PDF και άλλες μορφές αρχείων εικόνας.
Ενώ βασίζεται σε πρόγραμμα περιήγησης, το Photopea αποθηκεύει
όλα τα αρχεία τοπικά και δεν ανεβάζει δεδομένα σε διακομιστή.
Features
Photopea offers a wide variety of image editing tools,
including features like spot healing, a clone stamp healing brush,
and a patch tool. The software supports layers, layer masks, channels,
selections, paths, smart objects, layer styles, text layers, filters and vector shapes.
Reception
Photopea has received positive coverage due to its similarities
to Adobe Photoshop in design and workflow, making it an easier program
for those trained in Photoshop to use, compared to other
free raster image editors such as GIMP.

Ivan Kutskir is the only developer of Photopea. Has 27 years old graduate of the Charles University in Prague. Lives in Prague, Czech Republic, but he was born in Ukraine.
He did things such as programming, creating icons for tools, or writing all posts on this blog. He even designed the logo. Working on PP was his hobby and he truly enjoyed it (most of the time).
At the beginning, he had no hopes of making anything useful, He was just playing around. The idea of creating an advanced image editor on his own seemed stupid, and making it a webapp seemed like a complete joke.
After some time, his toy editor started to become more and more powerful. The response from users was very positive, so he decided to keep working on it as long as he can. I has solved 400 bugs and feature requests from users. He also produced several libraries, that are free to use for everybody (open-source under the MIT licence).
The Future Photopea already offers advanced image editing tools and can even replace commercial editors to a large extent. It is also a platform, which allows adding new state-of-the-art features much faster than the competition. When somebody suggests a new kick-ass feature, it can appear in Photopea the next day. All users always use the latest version of the software.
Plan to keep doing everything hisself. He want to create a team of developers as soon as it is possible. He believe we can fully catch up with our competitors and even get beyond. We will keep moving towards the most advanced and the most accessible image editor in the world.
